Healthwatch Cheshire are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication skills and an enquiring mind, to join our team as a Community Engagement and Project Officer.
Healthwatch Cheshire, consisting of Healthwatch Cheshire East and Healthwatch Cheshire West, gives our community a powerful voice to comment on the Health and Care services people receive and affect change locally.
Our team use a variety of engagement techniques to gain the views and experiences of the Health and Care services people receive across Cheshire, to help inform the priorities and quality of services commissioned by the NHS and local authorities.
As a Community Engagement and Project Officer with Healthwatch Cheshire East and Healthwatch Cheshire West you will:
- Engage with a diverse range of people and communities across Cheshire to ensure that the views of the local population, groups and organisations are fully represented by Healthwatch.
- Be involved in the planning and delivery of engagement activity.
- Have responsibility for planning, researching and producing reports for projects on specific local Health and Care topics.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to work independently as well as part of a small and professional team. You must be passionate about making a difference for local communities and demonstrate an ability to engage using strong communication skills. A knowledge of Health and Care issues is desirable.
