Proposed relocation of community services from Boughton Health Centre

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) and the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (CoCH) currently provide a range of community and outreach services from Boughton Health Centre in Chester.

Following formal notice from Boughton Medical Group, CWP and CoCH will need to vacate its accommodation at Boughton Health Centre no later than 20^th March 2022.

They are planning to relocate the services listed above to alternative venues in Chester:

• Lache Health Centre – approximately 2.6 miles from Boughton Health Centre and is within walking distance from Clivedon Road, which is well served by public transport.
• Fountains Health Building – approximately 1 mile from Boughton Health Centre, located in Delamere Street, Chester, and is served by a council run car park with good public transport access.

Before progressing with the proposed relocation of the services, CWP and CoCH would like to ensure that your views are captured and considered. CWP and the CoCH will be holding a period of engagement lasting a month to enable them to contact the patients and carers affected by the relocation, to ensure that they are better able to understand their needs and provide continuity of care.

This period will begin on 10th January 2022.
