Members of public invited to upcoming CCG Annual General Meetings

NHS South Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS Vale Royal CCG are inviting local people to attend their joint Annual Review Meeting (AGM) this September. Separately, West Cheshire CCG will also be hosting their event.

The AGMs are an opportunity for residents to find out more about the work that their local CCG has carried out in the past year and to let them know where money has been spent to deliver healthcare in their local area.

Part of this year’s AGMs will be a marketplace, allowing people to spend time at individual information stalls and to talk to the CCG teams to find out more detail about their commissioning work and how this has shaped local healthcare over the past 12 months.

Dr Andrew Wilson, local GP and Clinical Chair at NHS South Cheshire CCG said: “These events are a great opportunity for the local community to have a chat with their local health commissioners and share their feedback.

“People will hear from the clinical chairs, myself and Dr Jonathan Griffiths as well the executive team who will provide an overview on how the CCG spends its money, the health outcomes achieved and how this affects you.

“I would encourage anyone who is interested in finding out more about their local health care and services to come along to this event.”

Katy Brownbill, Senior Communications Manager, NHS South Cheshire CCG and NHS Vale Royal CCG adds: “Spending time sharing our achievements and our plans with our local community is really important to us. We want to make sure that we’re able to inform and involve people in our decisions as much as possible.”

The Annual Report Summary 2018/19 will also be launched at the event. This is a digital document which outlines the work that we have done and highlights key areas in an engaging and easy to understand format.

The Vale Royal and South Cheshire CCG AGM will take place on:
