Healthwatch Cheshire West publish Annual Report for 2021-22

Healthwatch Cheshire West are delighted to publish our Annual Report for 2021-22.

The year has brought many challenges locally as we continued to feel the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring we heard from as many people as possible to help in our work alongside partners delivering health and care services. However, it has been a year where our staff and volunteers have enjoyed once again physically getting out into communities to talk with people about their views and experiences of health and care.

This year, 1,208 people shared their experiences of health and social care services with us, helping to raise awareness of issues and improve care. Highlights from the year include our Healthwatch Across Cheshire campaign, and surveys and reports on topics such as the views of 18-30-year-olds on COVID-19 vaccinations, dentistry access, GP Practice websites, and A&E Watch.

We hope that you enjoy reading more about all of our work in this Annual Report. We would like to thank our team of staff and volunteers, and everyone that has worked with us this year, for their hard work and passion to make sure that people’s voices continue to be at the heart of planning and decision-making in Cheshire.
