Healthwatch Cheshire spend 12 hours in A&E

Healthwatch Cheshire spent 12 hours in A&E last week, as we heard about the experiences of people across the three A&E departments in Cheshire.

Our team of staff and volunteers spoke to people in the Countess of Chester, Leighton and Macclesfield Hospitals from 9am until 9pm as part of our regular A&E Watch.

We were especially keen to find out about what had made people attend A&E on that particular day, whether they had tried to visit anywhere else first, and how they felt about their experience of being in A&E.
