Cheshire Constabulary update regarding helpdesk and support availability
Currently Cheshire Police helpdesks are not physically open but are staffed. They can be accessed via a yellow telephone outside each station. To support these arrangements a number of helpdesks will be opening for an hour a day. They will be staffed by police officers who can provide immediate support to anyone who needs help.
Assistant Chief Constable, Jenny Sims states:
“Protecting the vulnerable in our society remains a top priority for us at Cheshire Constabulary. We seek to offer a wide range of ways for the public to access our services whether it be in person, online or by calling 101.”
“Our helpdesks are just one way of the public making contact with us and it’s important to note that all of our stations have a telephone outside that links to our control room 24-hours a day. In line with coronavirus regulations, which state the public must only make essential journeys, we have ensured that, for the vast majority of the public, that they can access our services remotely. For those who may be particularly vulnerable during this time, attending at a police station may be their only way of staying safe and obtaining the support they need. They can do this by visiting our deployment stations or by attending one of these published drop-in clinics.”

- Northwich Police Station 14:00 – 15:00 Daily
- Blacon Police Station 11:00 – 12:00 Daily
- Chester Town Hall 13:00 – 14:00 Daily
- Dragon Hall is also open for 2 one hour slots a week. These times
change on a weekly basis but are advertised on the Chester Police
